So, at Hennessy Coffee, we work with the Rainforest Alliance organisation to ensure that our coffee is produced in an environmentally-sustainable way, and the farmers who produce the excellent coffee beans we use are also adequately remunerated for their endeavours.

For coffee farmers to gain the Rainforest Alliance Certification they must demonstrate having achieved the following benchmarks: reducing the environmental impact of coffee production by using less water; reducing water pollution and soil erosion; reducing, re-using & recycling of waste; as well as protecting the wildlife habitats of the animals native to the farming area.
